Rare vintage collectible Santulli Deruta pottery pitcher in this listing, with an abstract sailboat design. Large 20 ounce size with measurements of 7 3/4 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches wide from spout to handle. There is one small imperfection on the handle a little dot see the last picture, otherwise in excellent condition no chips or cracks. There are over 200 ceramic workshops in the town of Deruta. The fine clay and expert craftsmanship not to mention the exquisite designs and detail of Deruta pottery is reconized the world over. Fine art craftsmanship dating back to the 1500s. There is a Deruta ceramic museum in Deruta, Italy with the gorgeous tile and pottery on display.
