This exceptional antique working musical decanter was made in the early 1900s by Schaefer & Vater Porcelain Factory in Thuringa, Germany. This rare musical decanter was exported by Schaefer & Vater and distributed by pubs in the United States along with other fine porcelain imported by Sears And Robuck such as bisque, majolica and jasperware from Schaefer and Vater. This adorable antique porcelain musical decanter with baker clad in his attire with the words "Life Saver" inscribed and a bottle in one hand and holding the glass in the other. The baker decanter with hat cork has measmeasurements approximately 11 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Such an adorable farmhouse display in a golden brown with a musical addition which has a stop peg when set down. This rare decanter is in excellent condition aside from slight wear on the cork and porcelain stopper, as shown in the pictures. Hardly noticeable. Exceptional antique gift.
