Listed for you here is a vintage Gold Castle Chikusa creamer and sugar bowl with lid that is handpainted with a wonderful bright pattern. Lovely bright orange foliage with purple berries and chartreuse for added color and accents on the handles, there is also slight gold trim and majolica glaze on the inside top of each piece. The sugar bowl, lid and creamer are in excellent condition aside from some spots of orange glaze inside sugar bowl and a few tiny spots of missing paint due to age but does not take away from the striking beauty of this set. No chips no cracks. Measurements are as follows, the creamer is 3 1/2"tall 5"wide spout to handle or 4"wide at middle the sugar bowl is 5"tall 7"wide handle to handle or 5 1/2" at middle. Made in Japan, with delicate elegance. This vintage set makes an exceptional display of a vintage retro era.
