Sorry, this item has sold.

Spode Trade Winds is another beautiful Spode pattern we were able to experience in our lifetime and then it will be lost forever, as the items become more rare. The design and idea from George Thompson created a whirl wind in exceptional nautical décor. The three cup (approximately) teapot listed for you here is an incredible display of the talents offered. The iron red with gold trim of W128 was the first colors to come out in the Trade Wind pattern 1959-60, other colors followed of black and also blue. This teapot has the Brig built in 1820 H.E.J.C. Thomas Coutts, on front and back red and gold trim, with the lovely berry finial atop of the lid and the gorgeous twisted handle, that is so pretty. Display is phenomenal. This teapot is in unused condition and belonging to a private collector. It is in perfect condition aside from a tiny manufacturing mark on the inside as I have shown to you in the picture listed, which happens with the best of fine china. It does not show or deter from the exceptional display. Measurements are 5 inches tall 8 1/2 inches from spout to handle 4 1/2 inches at base. Ideal wedding gift.
