WT Copeland And Sons created the Cairo Collection from 1850-1870s. The geometric flower pattern was very interesting in blue and white transfer on earthenware. This shaker is in good condition with minor signs of use and age. The antique look is very interesting aside from the pitting to the silver-plated top, a bit of discoloration around the rim and a small 1 inch crack and two others at the rim also, see picture. There is foil tucked inside the lid to hold into place, but with the rare antique history of the shaker it is sought after by collectors of Copeland and Spode alike. Made in Staffordshire England Stoke Upon Trent. Measurements are 3 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide. Exceptional addition to any antique Copeland collection.
